Employee Spotlight: Amber Faust

The Cafe is known for providing a unique atmosphere and cuisine for patrons to enjoy. But it's our employees that make The Cafe such a special place! Learn more about our staff by reading our monthly Employee spotlight!

Our May Employee Spotlight is Amber Faust:

1. What is your position and how long have you worked at The Cafe?
“I’ve been working here for almost a year. I float, run food and kitchen prep. Floating is going around the front of house and the back of house seeing what people need, assisting Myra and the servers. If anyone needs help, they come to me.”
2. What is your favorite entree and favorite dessert from The Cafe?
“I like everything. My favorite dish is probably The Pimita. I love it with our homemade ranch, it’s really good. I love our strawberry cake, that’s my favorite.”
3. What do you like most about working at The Cafe?
“It’s a really good environment, I always hear good morning when I arrive and I’m not a morning person. Everyone here is really friendly and nice.”
Conveniently located between the Highlands and downtown Louisville, The Café serves up ample portions of fresh, home-cooked food with a Southern accent, Mondays through Saturdays. We serve our dishes with love in an artistically eclectic, industrial setting. That’s how The Café has garnered legions of loyal customers and friends since 1996. With soups, sandwiches, salads, and breakfast ALL day, The Café has something for everyone. Your first visit will certainly not be your last.
